On a recent episode of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, Roxanne Perez, the reigning WWE NXT Women’s Champion, shared her insights on her female counterpart Giulia, highlighting their contrasting fighting styles and more.
Noteworthy insights from the podcast are as follows:
When discussing her stylistic contrasts with Giulia, Perez stated, “The substantial differential in this match is undoubtedly the Japanese strong style, which isn’t typical for me, barring the wrestling matches against Meiko Satomura. My debut match with Satomura didn’t yield the anticipated result. In the rematch, I ended up being stretchered out… That was in the past, two years back. I have evolved now… Becoming adaptable to every differing style is what makes me the ‘Prodigy.’ I eagerly anticipate taking her head-on. Her strong style is something I appreciate, and I look forward to her bringing that intensity.”
On her perspective of Giulia, she explained, “It feels like I am the pillar upholding this brand…My reign is unlike any other, at least that’s what I believe. Then arrives Giulia, dwarfing everything with the excitement she brings… But let’s not overlook the fact that I’m the reason she made it to the WWE… Nonetheless, I believe once I conquer her, it will be clear that no one can match my caliber.”
Separately, the “Sportskeeda Wrestling” podcast had the opportunity to host WWE Hall of Famer JBL recently. A handful of subjects were tackled, one of which was his current WWE contract status. In his words,
“I’m going to address this while being as diplomatic and factual as possible. I’ve never opened up about my contract. Without any shade of doubt, all the internet speculation about me is entirely incorrect. I won’t confirm or deny anything because WWE always included a confidentiality clause. I’ve always believed it’s unprofessional to publicize my contract or anyone else’s. Regretfully, I won’t be providing any more details. The rumors about me have been off the mark.”
