Renowned WWE Hall of Fame athlete JBL is gearing up for an action-packed year ahead, following his successful reintegration into the wrestling world through a string of appearances.
Throughout 2024, JBL, a former WWE World Champion, has graced the wrestling platforms of GCW, AAA, MLW, and TNA Wrestling, in addition to participating in events organized by smaller-scale promoters.
Speaking on a recent episode of the popular podcast “Something to Wrestle”, JBL promised major developments in his wrestling career over the next 12-month period. He stated,
“As I turned 58, I realized ‘This is going to be the year filled with fun and wild adventures.’ I’ve been formulating these plans for quite some time. Once the COVID crisis hit and boredom set in, I knew I wanted to reconnect with wrestling – it’s always been my passion. I’m thrilled about being given this opportunity. There are several exciting plans lined up, so I truly hope this year will be memorable.”
In the past, JBL shared his reasons for delving back into the wrestling world. He didn’t wish for his ill-fated partnership with Baron Corbin to be his swan song in the wrestling arena.
For the coming year, JBL is enthusiastically awaiting a game-changing title shift in WWE involving an old adversary. Click here to learn more.
