In a fresh conversation with “Sportskeeda Wrestling”, the eminent WWE Hall of Famer, JBL, expressed high praises for Paul “Triple H” Levesque for effectively taking the reins of WWE’s creative side from Vince McMahon.
According to JBL, “Triple H is singularly capable, in my view, of succeeding Vince. He’s not just maintained status quo at the company, he’s elevated it. The stunning things they are achieving are simply mind-blowing. Billion-dollar TV contracts, the massive audiences they pull in. The collective efforts of him and Nick Khan, along with the entire team, including Bruce Prichard, are awe-inspiring to me.”
In the latest episode of the “Wrestling With Freddie” podcast, ex-WWE writer Freddie Prinze Jr. discussed the present friction between Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods that might spark the comeback of the injured Big E.
Big E has been incapacitated with a neck issue as of 2022. The prior WWE champion is all set to have further scans in the following months to gauge the advancement of his neck healing process and decide whether he can resume in-ring activities.
Noteworthy points from the podcast are showcased below:
Freddie Prinze Jr. on The New Day plot stirring Big E’s comeback: “My prediction is that this story is the ticket for Big E’s return. It might not be as a wrestler, but he’ll definitely be back on the television screen and pretty soon at that. And he’ll aid these gentlemen — though they’re not so young anymore — to realize their mistakes and have a reunion.”
On the possibility of The New Day’s “split” storyline: “The prospect of witnessing the breakup of the New Day, or a potential fracture was something I hadn’t considered. However, there’s an undeniable sense of discord. It’s like a prime-time melodrama targeted at men. It’s some pretty intense drama, folks.”
