JBL, a prominent figure in the wrestling world, has expressed his admiration for the efforts of TNA Wrestling since its resurgence.
In January 2024, the organization, formerly known as Impact Wrestling, successfully relaunched as TNA with the ‘Hard to Kill’ pay-per-view event.
JBL didn’t hold back his praise for TNA Wrestling during a recent episode of the “Something to Wrestle” podcast. He stated,
“They are doing everything right. It’s incredible. They’re filling up stadiums. They’re selling out, wherever they go. They attracted 4,000 spectators in El Paso. They’re doing everything perfectly. I don’t want to bring negativity into the conversation, but it’s quite opposite of what’s happening with AEW. AEW had to scale down from large arenas to smaller ones. They’re taking a completely different route.”
Since TNA’s rebirth, the organization has accomplished significant milestones, including signing renowned wrestlers like Nic Nemeth, as well as forging a partnership with WWE.
JBL became a part of the TNA Wrestling entity in 2024, interacting with top wrestlers, including Nemeth and Joe Hendry.
TNA’s latest significant event was the Sacrifice pay-per-view which featured both TNA and WWE NXT wrestlers.
