It is time for another week of the Ultimate Power Rankings from both WWE and AEW. Who improved their stock from last week and who downgraded their position among the rest?

This set ranges from Monday (January 22) and to Sunday (January 28). This means that all the results and highlights from this week’s Raw, NXT, AEW Dynamite, SmackDown, AEW Rampage, and AEW Collision will all play a factor in the rankings. The results and highlights from WWE’s Royal Rumble will also be factored into the ranking.

If a wrestler has a (+) next to their name, then that means that they moved up the rankings from  edition. When there is a (-) next to their name, then that means that they moved down from the rankings of last week’s edition. If there is nothing next to their name, then that means that they stayed at the same spot.

Without further ado, let’s get into this week’s Power Rankings for WWE and AEW!

WWE TOP 10 POWER RANKINGS:

10. Kevin Owens (-1)

Owens may not be the United States Champion, but he looked good in his disqualification loss to Logan Paul. The feud over the title is presumably going to continue, and maybe, just maybe go all the way to WrestleMania.

9. The Judgment Day (-2)

Another mixed week for the group. Dominik Mysterio picks up a win on Raw, although Damian Priest lost in his main event match against Drew McIntyre. Their Royal Rumble experience, however, was overshadowed by the comedic genius that is R-Truth. Still, Ripley is still champion, Priest is still Mr. Money in the Bank, and the tag titles are still in their corner, but #DIY awaits next.

8. Bron Breakker and Baron Corbin (NR)

The surprisingly fun team of Breakker and Corbin have advanced to the finals of the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. Most importantly, Breakker looked like an absolute. star in the Royal Rumble as a special entrant, eliminating multiple stars and having a stare down with the Intercontinental Champion, Gunther.

7. Drew McIntyre (-4)

McIntyre took home the dub on Raw, followed by a good showing in the Rumble that ultimately he came up short in, being eliminated by CM Punk in the final three of the match.

6. Legado Del Fantasma (NR)

Legado Del Fantasma is growing stronger, as Elektra Lopez made her SmackDown debut by costing Carlito the win, attacking LWO’s Zelina Vega. This faction warfare seems to be heading towards a major collision at WrestleMania. What’s next? Us patiently waiting for the return of one Rey Mysterio.

5. Trick Melo Gang (-1)

Carmelo Hayes and Trick William’s relationship problems continue to bubble over, but for this week, Williams made the jump to SmackDown by helping out his fallen brother after a breakdown from Austin Theory and Grayson Waller. The duo will need to put their difference aside, as they take on Joaquin Wilde and Cruz Del Toro to determine who will be in the finals of the Dusty Cup.

4. Seth Rollins (-1)

He may be injured, but it seems like “The Visionary” will not have to vacate his championship, keeping the highly-anticipated showdown between him and Punk still on the table for the biggest show of the year.

3. CM Punk (NR)

10 years later and Punk didn’t quite reach that glass ceiling by securing his WrestleMania main event slot, being the last person eliminated in the Men’s Royal Rumble. Still, all signs point to him and Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship with Punk winning the Elimination Chamber.

2. Damage CTRL (+2)

This group continues to be the main attraction on possibly all worlds of WWE TV. The aura that surrounds all of them is legit, and got even bigger, as not only did the Kabuki Warriors win the Women’s Tag Team Championship, but Bayley realized her dream by winning the Royal Rumble.

1. Cody Rhodes (+1)

Not only did Rhodes have a memorable promo battle with Punk on Raw, but “The American Nightmare” became just the fourth person to win back-to-back Royal Rumbles, securing his place at WrestleMania with Roman Reigns Part II.

AEW TOP 10 POWER RANKINGS:

10. Toni Storm

The AEW Women’s World Champion had a sit-down with her presumably next challenger, Deonna Purrazzo. The segment did its job and Storm continued to drop some funny one-liners.

9. The Acclaimed (NR)

Another Trios Championship defense is in the books for The Acclaimed, as they knocked off the Gates of Agony to retain their titles on Dynamite.

8. Blackpool Combat Club (+1)

Jon Moxley and Shane Taylor have made it clear that there are issues, with Moxley beating Lee Moriarty on Rampage. On Collision, Moxley, with Claudio Castagnoli, picked up another victory in tag team action against Taylor and Moriarty.

7. Darby Allin and Sting (-2)

Allin expressed how much his partnership with Sting has met to him, and now the two of them have a chance to make some last minute history by becoming AEW Tag Team Champions in one week time.

6. Deonna Purrazzo (+1)

Purrazzo held her own against the champ Storm, eventually taking it to her, Mariah May, and even Luther. Everything but the dotted lines are pointing to a Purrazzo and Storm bout at Revolution.

5. Adam Copeland (-1)

Copeland came and conquered once more, beating Minoru Suzuki in an old-timey dream match between two legends of the game, in the main event of Dynamite.

4. Daniel Garcia and FTR (NR)

The main event of Collision saw Garcia and FTR win the escape the cage steel cage match, brushing by House of Black to end this personal feud. Garcia, being the one to escape, looked great in this and hopefully AEW plans on booking him well in the forsseable future.

3. Samoa Joe (-2)

The AEW World Champion made some more proclamations about him as the champion, before eventually being interrupted by Hook. While Swerve Strickland and Adam Page lay in the waiting room, a rematch with Hook to kill time may just be the answer between now and Revolution.

2. Swerve Strickland (+1)

Another win for Strickland this week, as while the win was obviously expected, his match with Jeff Hardy being solid is a major achievement for 2024 standards (sorry Jeff). Anywho, Strickland continues his climb to the AEW World Championship.

1. “Hangman” Adam Page (+1)

Speaking of wins by future challengers, Page scored a pinfall victory in his own right, beating Penta El Zero Miedo on Dynamite. In the same situation with Strickland, Page continues his own climb to the AEW World Championship.
