James Willems Is Creating Fun Content, Has A Great Dynamic With Scorpio Sky On ‘Wrestling With The Week’
James Willems is excited for his new journey with Scorpio Sky on ‘Wrestling With The Week.’
Willems spoke with WrestleZone Managing Editor Bill Pritchard ahead of the premiere of his new show, ‘Wrestling With The Week’, premiering on Monday, January 16. Willems spoke about how nice it is that their show doesn’t fit into one box in particular, and there’s a great energy that came as a result of the two working together.
“‘Wrestling With The Week’ is really hard to put into this perfect, PR pitch because it is like two different worlds coming together. Sky and I are very different people, but I think we’ve come from places that are similar. I’ve been working with Rooster Teeth as long as I have, and I’ve been pushing them, like, we have to get into the wrestling world. As a fan myself, it’s so different but similar in what we do as it’s these enhanced, larger-than-life personalities and community enthusiasm over those personalities, and the same happens when you look across into wrestling. They seem so different, but what we do is similar, and it just so happened that an opportunity showed up that we could work with AEW to do something.”
