In a recent episode of the “Wrestling Life” podcast, professional wrestler James Storm discussed the current collaboration between WWE and TNA Wrestling. He also deliberated on the potential of WWE buying up TNA in the future.
Storm, who has a significant history working with both organizations, is famous for his association with TNA. He offered his insights, exclaiming, “I think it’s great, especially for all the TNA talent currently. TNA isn’t easy to access in a lot of places, it requires specific subscriptions etcetera, so this collaboration will bring in many more viewers for TNA which is brilliant for the wrestlers. Even more, the chance to wrestle for NXT is huge. This is an opportunity not to be squandered – it may not come around again, so utilize it fully.”
Upon questioning the possibility of WWE purchasing TNA, he responded, “There’s speculation that this is a sort of ‘testing the waters’ scenario to see how it might turn out. I wouldn’t be surprised if WWE would want to buy TNA, particularly for access to their rich library of content. They could showcase the careers of various athletes like AJ, Kurt Angle, and Samoa Joe when they were in their prime with TNA. Plus, with the platform now being available on Netflix, it could draw in even more viewers.”
In the episode, titled “Cowboy James Storm on Beer Money, WWE & TNA’s Partnership, Beating Kurt Angle, Acting In Movies”, Storm also shared intriguing behind-the-scenes tales of TNA and WWE, his experiences, and more.
