James Ellsworth Talks WWE Stint, Wrestling AJ Styles, The Wednesday Night War
James Ellsworth was recently interviewed by The Hannibal TV. During their talk, the former WWE superstar discusses getting to beat AJ Styles, the highlights of his WWE career, and who is winning the Wednesday night war.
Check out highlights below:
His favorite match with AJ Styles:
We had a ladder match in Canada for my contract, if I win I get a contract on SmackDown. It was so much fun, had a great story, and I had a lot of fun on that match.
… [Dean Ambrose] came out and caused a distraction, while Styles got rid of him, I won the match myself.
Other WWE highlights:
Doing WrestleMania, doing Madison Square Garden, doing the Royal Rumble, there’s a lot of great memories. Grabbing the Money in the Bank contract and making everyone mad. That was fun. Working with John Cena, got to wrestle him on SmackDown. A lot of cool stuff and memories I’ll always cherish.
Thoughts on NXT vs. AEW:
I flip back and forth. Whatever I find interesting I watch. They’re both really good shows. Wednesday night is the best night of wrestling.
