Jake “The Snake” Roberts spoke just recently about how wrestling today does not have the character work to make things stick to an audience, which things feel a bit too hurried. The WWE Hall of Famer and existing AEW skill spoke with WrestleRant when he weighed in on what’s missing out on from modern-day professional wrestling.

Roberts mentioned: ” You understand, whatever they’re doing now is hurried a lot. They’re not putting in the time to establish characters. They’ve got a great deal of terrific professional athletes heading out there, flying through the air, and doing impossible things to their bodies. At the end of the night, absolutely nothing sticks. What was that? What are they gon na do next? Due to the fact that there is not a character included and I ‘d like to see them begin working on their characters, it’s. Obviously, they’ll do that with interviews, that’ll assist a lot, and ideally I’ll have the ability to assist a few of those men do much better interviews. That’s my brand-new task in AEW and ideally I’ll do an excellent task of it. The item is still required, it’s still desired, however it gets irritating when you see the exact same errors going on and on. In some cases I’m like, if I had some teeth to take out I would however these are linked.”

Roberts was just recently called as a Special Advisor to the AEW Community program. He went back to AEW tv on Friday’s episode of Rampage, appearing along with Lance Archer.
