Jake Roberts: Jim Cornette Deserves A WWE Hall Of Fame Induction

Jim Cornette deserves to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, according to 2014 inductee Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts.

Considered to be one of the all-time great managers, Cornette has worked for WWE, WCW, WCCW, TNA/Impact Wrestling, and Jim Crockett Promotions, among many more.

Despite his lengthy career, Cornette has not been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, likely due to the controversial comments made on his podcast.

On the latest episode of his “The Snake Pit” podcast, Roberts spoke about Cornette possibly being inducted. He said,

“He’s there to make you think outside the box, and when you come to Jim Cornette, you don’t even look at the box.

“Absolutely [he deserves to be inducted.] Cornette should definitely be in there. Whether he makes it or not I don’t know, but he should definitely be in there. He has contributed so much to wrestling. Say what you want to about Corny but he gets the job done.”

If Cornette gets inducted, he will join other managers including Paul Bearer, Bobby Heenan, and Sensational Sherri.
