During one of the most recent episodes of his podcast, “The Snake Pit”, the esteemed WWE Hall of Famer, Jake Roberts, divulged his perspectives on being an agent backstage. He articulated his conviction that he would not have been particularly successful in such a role.
Brief excerpts from the podcast are featured below:
His View on what constitutes a good agent: “Eh, just do your job, you know?”
His Reasoning for why he would have made a poor agent: “Well, primarily, I’d be vocalizing my opinions. And if I declared my opinions on every wrestler that enters that ring, I’m certainly going to be extremely occupied.”
His Opinion on the importance of height versus physique in wrestling: “In my view, physique is a priority. You can measure 5’10”, and still appear impressive. You could be 5’7 and yet still impressive. Hence, I believe the height isn’t as significant as having an athletic appearance.”
