Jai Vidal has decided to part ways with TNA Wrestling, news that was recently confirmed.
According to reports from Fightful Select, Vidal himself initiated this move, requesting his release from the wrestling company and being granted the same.
The year 2022 saw Vidal getting officially added to the TNA Wrestling roster with a multi-year contract. The most recent time he performed for the company was in the qualifiers for an Ultimate X match in August. Over the year, his presence was seen in only a handful of matches, amounting to four in total for the company.
Reports from multiple insiders discuss Vidal’s growing discontent. They mention his frustration over the creative process employed at TNA. Furthermore, his dissatisfaction stems from the lack of representation in the company. As the first openly gay wrestler for TNA, Vidal was displeased as he did not feel his position was properly acknowledged.
Presently, in 2024, Vidal’s wrestling journey continues with multiple organizations like Coastal Championship Wrestling, GCW, and Future Stars of Wrestling.
