In a recent episode of the “Battleground” podcast, Jade Cargill, one-half of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions, shared her views on the idea of incorporating celebrities into WWE events.
Outlining her stance, she stated emphatically, “I would adore seeing Latto. I would be thrilled to have Megan Thee Stallion join us. I can’t help but dream of seeing Nicki [Minaj] alongside us. There a few individuals I would be delighted to see step into the ring. I had the fortune of sharing my platform with [rapper] Trina in AEW. If these artists are ready for a challenge and willing to take on the physical endurance required, then let’s welcome them. However, they must be ready to put in the effort because being part of this industry is not just a job but a privilege. It requires dedication and commitment. I believe this industry should not be open to just anyone because we work hard, and we require that respect for the business from those who join us. They should be ready to put their best foot forward and safeguard the industry’s secrets.”
Jade Cargill marked a notable victory over Piper Niven during the preliminary round of the Queen of the Ring tournament on a recent episode of WWE SmackDown. Cargill’s tag team associate, Bianca Belair, also advanced to the subsequent round following her triumph over Candice LeRae.
