Jade Cargill Shares Positive Feedback on WWE Performance Center, Updates on Natalya

Jade Cargill recently spoke with Denise Salcedo to discuss her time training at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, FL thus far. She said,

“It’s been great. I had to learn the differences and moves that I can do and can’t do, the small difference in the aprons, difference in the ropes, and things of that sort. [It] wasn’t that much of a change. Right now, I’m just working on redefining who I am. They don’t want to change anything about me, they believe if it’s not broke, don’t fix it. They want me to be the best that I can be, so they want me to be myself.”

She continued, “Literally, what you see, what I’m doing with these promos, everything I’m doing, it’s me. It’s literally just me and they want me to just be me and go out there. The coaches are so amazing. They want to see me do well. They want to see me excel. They’ll pull me to the side if they see something that is something I need to work on and critique. No issues at all.”

Cargill made her WWE in-ring debut during the 2024 women’s Royal Rumble match.

Natalya says she’s been talked to about writing a book about her life.

Speaking on a recent edition of the “Busted Open Radio” podcast, the Queen of Hearts commented on the possibility of writing a book, and more.

You can check out some highlights from the podcast below:

On Becky Lynch’s book: “I was so impressed with the way Becky Lynch handled herself as far her book and how she talked about it and just talking to Becky backstage. She’s really excited about her book and I think it’s an honest look at her life, her career, her legacy. She still has so much more life left to live, obviously, but to write a book at a young age, we’ve done a lot of living. Becky and I met over 20 years ago in Vancouver for a show called SuperGirls. We kind of started our wrestling careers at the same time. When I look back at all the living we’ve done and the roads we’ve traveled, I think Becky’s book is going to be incredible.”

On being asked about writing a book herself: “Yes, I was approached to write a book. I’m exploring those options as far as doing it. I definitely will be writing a book. My greatest inspirations are the people I work with like Becky Lynch. I love Bret’s [Bret Hart] book, I thought Bret’s book was beautiful. He took ten years to write it. I said to Bret, ‘Your book is so special and so powerful,’ because when Bret was traveling up and down WWE, he would talk into a tape recorder and he recorded everything in his career every night after his matches. I said to him, ‘To have the insight to do that to me is really cool.’ I’m inspired to grow in 2024 and I’m really looking forward to doing that and surprising you guys with some really cool things.”
