Jade Cargill may be a WWE Superstar these days, but the former TBS Champion will always appreciate her tenure with All Elite Wrestling.

Cargill signed with WWE last year shortly after her AEW tenure. She is currently a free agent but has claimed she knows what brand she will be competing on going forward.

In a recent interview with Denise Salcedo, Cargill spoke about how her AEW run helped prepare her for a career in WWE. She said,

“I felt like I would have not gotten a better start than in AEW. I think the veterans in the locker room prepared me for the grander stage at WWE. I got a great experience there being thrown into the water and being able to swim and survive, it prepared me for the big stage that WWE has.”

Cargill made her WWE in-ring debut as part of the women’s Royal Rumble match which was won by Damage CTRL’s Bayley.

The former AEW wrestler lasted until the final three before being eliminated by Liv Morgan in the latter’s first match back in months.
