Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair triumphed over Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn clinching the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles at the WWE Bash In Berlin 2024 pay-per-view event on Saturday.
Cargill, still fresh in the memory of her AEW days, found herself fielding questions about her transformation from AEW to WWE in the press huddle that followed the Bash In Berlin celebration. Her move to WWE was announced almost a year ago.
Cargill did not shy away from expressing her intention to move beyond her AEW past. Although she holds no regrets about her stay at AEW, her eyes are set on the future. As a previous AEW TBS Champion, she is resolute in her commitment to influence the development of the WWE women’s division positively.
She stated,
“You know what, I’m so tired of answering questions about AEW. I’m proud to be from there; however, I’m here. The answer is that I’m here, and I want to focus on what’s next, and that’s solidifying and owning these tag team titles and making a name for ourselves.”
