Recently, the “Busted Open Radio” podcast hosted WWE/TNA Hall of Famer Bully Ray, where he shared his thoughts on Jacob Fatu’s recent SmackDown debut.
Bully Ray voiced his admiration, stating, “That kid looked like a star on Friday night. I saw shades of Umaga in Jacob Fatu on Friday night, just in his body movement. The manner in which he swings his clothesline, finishes off his moves, it brings to mind his uncle…I see immense potential.”
Earlier this year, Fatu became a member of the WWE and made a memorable entrance by launching an attack on Randy Orton, Kevin Owens, and the reigning WWE Universal Champion Cody Rhodes.
Previously, Fatu made a mark as a former Major League Wrestling (MLW) World Champion. His impressive 819-day period with the championship remains an unbeatable record thus far.
In 2024 alone, Fatu has marked his entry into The Bloodline, which has also been graced by the entry of Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa.
The video below showcases the full match where Jacob Fatu launched an attack on Cody Rhodes, a highlight from the SmackDown held on June 21, 2024.
