The IWGP & NJPW STRONG Tag Team Championships have been vacated.
During Sunday night’s NJPW Resurgence pay-per-view event, Aussie Open were forced to vacate the IWGP And NJPW STRONG Tag Team Championships due to an injury to Mark Davis.
Aussie Open’s Kyle Fletcher came out to the ring and announced that due to an injury to Davis, the team will not be able to defend their titles at NJPW Dominion. They were originally set to face Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI and EVIL & Yujiro Takahashi at the show.
Due to the injury, the titles will now be crowned during a match between Bishamon (Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI) and House of Torture (EVIL & Yujiro Takahashi) at NJPW Dominion, which takes place on June 4th.
