Professional wrestler Chad Gable seems poised to stick with WWE, notwithstanding his contractual status.
It came to light that there was interest from AEW in contracting Gable. However, WWE countered with a powerful proposal. AEW could not step in with their offer until Gable’s WWE contract ran its course last Friday. Inside AEW, a number of influential persons urged Gable to transition to Tony Khan’s organization.
The wrestling program for the upcoming Clash at the Castle Premium Live Event this Saturday mentions Gable battling it out with Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental Title.
Sources close to PWInsider.com suggest that Gable is on the brink of, if not already, finalizing a deal with WWE. The widely held belief is that he is leaning towards remaining with the current company.
