In the wrestling world, Meiko Satomura has had a quieter presence within the WWE throughout the past year. She competed against Roxanne Perez at NXT Roadblock on March 7, 2023 and only made her return into the ring on June 12, 2024 at Fortune Dream 9. Satomura’s latest activity saw her form an alliance with Bayley, Bianca Belair, and Jade Cargill during a faceoff against Damage CTRL and Tiffany Stratton during the ongoing WWE SuperShow Summer Tour house show in Osaka, Japan.

As per information emerging from Tokyo Sports, rumors suggest that Satomura will be hanging up her wrestling boots by the upcoming spring. Notably, April marks the 30th year since her debut in the wrestling world.

Although there has been no official statement as of yet, when asked about the impending retirement, Satomura responded cryptically, “We will announce the details in the near future, so please wait a little longer.” Given the circumstances, it could be inferred that an official announcement could be imminent, perhaps following the conclusion of her current tour in Japan.
