In February, Bushiroad terminated the contract of STARDOM founder Rossy Ogawa, claiming that he “poached many STARDOM wrestlers and staff.”
Ogawa’s departure caused several talents to leave STARDOM in March when their contracts expired.
Earlier today, Ogawa held a press conference to announce the launch of his new promotion, Marigold Dream Star Fighting.
Seven wrestlers were also announced for the promotion’s debut event, “Marigold Fields Forever’” on May 20 at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo.
The list of talent includes Giulia, Utami Hayashishita, Mai Sakurai, MIRAI, Yuzuki (who will now be Victoria Yuzuki), Nanae Takahashi, and Nao Ishikawa. The first five names are from STARDOM.
The event will stream on WRESTLE UNIVERSE with both English and Japanese commentary.
