Signs are emerging about a prospective streaming agreement in the works for AEW.
The buzz picked up last year when reports signaled that AEW was potentially shifting to Warner Bros. Discovery’s streaming platform, MAX (previously known as HBO Max) in 2024.
Lately, AEW programming has debuted on the international versions of MAX. Supporters of AEW were swift to point out the introduction of the company’s shows and pay-per-view events in the MAX collection on various social media platforms.
These signs may indicate that AEW and Warner Bros. Discovery are edging closer to settling on a new media rights arrangement.
For now, the AEW content collection on MAX is accessible only to audiences beyond the USA and Canada. However, this scenario might be ready for a change shortly.
