Months ago, news broke about Hikuleo putting pen to paper with WWE, causing a wave of anticipation for his debut, location and approach. There was a lot of buzz in The Bloodline circle as anticipation was high for new recruits after Solo Sikoa’s rebellion against Roman Reigns serving as The Tribal Chief. It was widely speculated Hikuleo would adopt the renowned name Talla Tonga, secure his spot in the SmackDown team and become a new ally to Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu, further strengthening Sikoa’s line-up.
Yet, PWInsider Elite revealed an interesting twist. Instead of securing a spot in the WWE SmackDown lineup, Hikuleo has been placed on the in-house roster for NXT.
Why this sudden change in plans or Hikuleo’s absence from his brothers in SmackDown or his role in NXT hasn’t been disclosed.
Are we perhaps looking at a potential involvement from The Rock’s daughter, Ava, whose role as NXT General Manager hasn’t led to any interactions with The Bloodline apart from scant appearances unconnected to her? Could it be that Hikuleo needs to further prove his mettle or maybe some extra grooming before stepping into the limelight? Is there a chance The Bloodline is planning to extend its realm by getting Hikuleo to seize NXT?
