TNA Wrestling held a talent meeting this past weekend at the television tapings in New Orleans, LA.
Fightful Select is reporting that the meeting, which was attended by Anthem Sports executives, was planned in advance and featured some of the old bosses who had already worked with TNA as well as new ones.
Some TNA talent spoke with executives individually, and the new bosses are reportedly “open to feedback” from the roster.
The feeling among talent was that no individual wanted to ditch the hard work they put into TNA, even if they didn’t approve of the firing of former TNA President Scott D’Amore.
One top star was set to quit TNA but decided to stay after the TV tapings and subsequent meeting.
Overall, the meeting was successful at getting talent excited for the future of TNA. While many still hope D’Amore will return to the company, he’s not expected to do so.
