Toronto’s own, and WWE Hall of Famer, Trish Stratus was spotted backstage at SmackDown. Earlier that day, she also showed up at the Money In The Bank 2024 Kickoff Show.
Jimmy Korderas, once a WWE referee, was reported to be present backstage too.
Moreover, the WWE SmackDown Tag Team Championship match was organized by Jamie Noble. DIY won this match against A-Town Down Under to acquire the mantles.
This win marked the first time DIY bagged a major roster title. They had earlier won the NXT Tag Team Titles at the NXT TakeOver: Toronto event back in November 2016.
