During a Friday night event in Tampa, Florida, TNA Wrestling recorded the following matches for upcoming TNA Impact episodes on AXS TV:
At the event called TNA Xplosion, Sami Callihan came out victorious against Xyan. Santino Marella demanded clarification from Matt Cardona for intruding on PCO and Steph de Lander’s wedding. Marella presented him with a contract for a match against PCO, to which Cardona agreed to review with his legal team.
In the Ultimate X Qualifier round, Laredo Kid defeated Jai Vidal and Bhupinder Gujjar. In another match, Rosemary emerged victorious against Alisha Edwards with Spitfire intervening to prevent Masha Slamovich from meddling.
A team match saw Rhino, PCO, and Xia Brookside outperform Kon, Madman Fulton, and Steph de Lander. Matt Cardona did not participate, introducing Fulton and Kon instead. Steph de Lander, however, did not join in and spent the duration arguing with her teammates.
Other Ultimate X Qualifiers victories went to Hammerstone, who defeated KUSHIDA and Frankie Kazarian, and Jonathan Gresham, who won against WWE NXT’s Charlie Dempsey. The match ended in a scuffle between the two.
The System, accompanied by JDC, also made an appearance, voicing their intentions to win titles. It was observed that this might have been a do-over of the previous night’s announcement.
Among the other matches, Spitfire defeated Renee Michelle & Katiland Alexis, Eric Young beat KC Navarro, and Mike Bailey won over Rich Swann.
In the final showdown, The Hardys were victorious over Moose & JDC. Post match, the Hardys were assisted by Mike Santana and Joe Hendry against the System. Matt Hardy lauded Santana and Hendry and thanked the supporters as well as complimented TNA.
