The planned program for AEW All In 2024, set to take place on Sunday, August 25, at the renowned Wembley Stadium in London, UK, is reported to have undergone some changes.
The touted main event of the occasion will see Swerve Strickland and Bryan Danielson showdown for the AEW World Heavyweight Championship.
Speculation has been mounting around the wrestling circuit, as highlighted by eWn, that the Lucha Bros comprised of Rey Fenix and Penta El Zero Miedo might be on their way out of AEW once their contracts lapse, with WWE as a possible landing spot.
Changes seem to be afoot over at AEW as reported by Ibou of WrestlePurists, stating that the previously planned contest for All In 2024 has been altered.
The reigning AEW World Trios Champions, The Patriarchy, are now projected to go up against The Bang Bang Gang and House of Black. This development comes following the initial announcement which penciled The Lucha Bros. and PAC for the title match.
Here is the direct quote from Ibou’s report, “The Lucha Bros. were originally slated to compete at Wembley Stadium with PAC. At some point in time, they were set to go up against The Patriarchy for the Trios Championships. However, this bout is no longer on the cards. The Trios Championship match now involves The Patriarchy, the Bang Bang Gang, and House of Black. That’s the match you can expect. It’s unclear if the Death Triangle will be featured at Wembley during All In. Upon this match getting axed, I enquired within the organization, and various AEW insiders…essentially confirmed that the Lucha Brothers are likely to leave AEW when their contract wraps up.”
At this time, it should be noted that the Lucha Bros. are still legally bound to the AEW by their current contract.
