Professional wrestling lost a true icon with the untimely death of Bray Wyatt, if the opinions of WWE Hall of Famer, Booker T, are anything to go by. He regards the departed Wyatt as among the greatest figures to ever step foot in the ring.
Sadly, Wyatt left us at the young age of 36 in August 2023, following unresolved health issues, after a stellar stint at WWE where he won the World Champion title three times.
On one of the recent episodes of his renowned podcast, “Hall of Fame”, Booker T chatted about Wyatt’s towering influence on wrestling. Addressing the recent arrival of the group Wyatt Sicks, Booker gushed,
“Bray Wyatt left an unforgettable impression, making a tremendous impact with the minimal time he spent on our planet. For the wrestling world, he’s undoubtedly a legendary entity, and that too at such a youthful age. It just demonstrates his mindset, his incredible wrestling IQ. It’s heart-wrenching to think about the heights Bray Wyatt could have scaled.”
“That’s what strikes me – the endless potential he had to push limits, to explore uncharted territories. Everything we saw emerging was all a culmination of Bray Wyatt’s creative genius. It’ll be intriguing to observe how his legacy is carried forward.”
The Wyatt Sicks, akin to a tribe helmed by Uncle Howdy, made their highly anticipated first appearance on this week’s episode of WWE RAW. They instantly established their dominance, disarming several Superstars on the roster.
