The dramatic closing saw MJF land a low blow followed by a jackknife pin on Garcia. After the match, MJF proposed a handshake to Garcia who wisely thwarted another low blow from MJF and responded with his own. Garcia then executed a piledriver off the top rope on MJF.

In another thrilling encounter, The Young Bucks emerged successful over The Blackpool Combat Club, thereby retaining their AEW World Tag Team Champions title. The winning move came when Matthew Jackson was superplexed off the top by Claudio Castagnoli who then placed Wheeler Yuta on top. Reacting quickly, Matthew got his knees up to roll up Yuta leading to the win. Presently, The Young Bucks are in their third reign as tag team champions and have held the title for 140 days.
