An assassination attempt has occurred on WWE Hall of Famer and ex-convict Donald Trump during his rally in Pennsylvania this past Saturday, although specifics are still somewhat unclear at this time.

The rally started later than scheduled, leading to long waits in the intense heat and causing several reported medical incidents. As the event finally got underway, gunfire erupted with Donald Trump, the former President of the United States, being hit in the ear. Secret Service agents reacted instantly as Trump and the audience took cover.

Following the incident, a statement was released by the Trump campaign announcing his transport to a local hospital. His injuries were stated as non-life-threatening and his subsequent release has been confirmed.

Butler County District Attorney Richard Goldinger informed in a statement that one rally attendee was fatally shot, and the shooter has since been confirmed as deceased. Further, two individuals are reported to be in a critical condition.

Understandably, the rally was immediately cancelled and attendees were ushered out.

Initial reports suggest the shooter fired approximately eight rounds from a rooftop, employing an AK-47 rifle from nearly 300 yards away. The assailant was neutralized by a Secret Service sniper team.

All major mainstream media networks, including ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC, CNN, FOX News and Newsmax, are broadcasting live coverage. We condemn violence, regardless of one’s political affiliations.

This story is still unfolding. Updates will be made as more information emerges.
