IMPACT Wrestling Viewership Takes A Big Drop Despite Rebellion Fallout

impact wrestling 2021

The numbers are in, and the April 29 episode of IMPACT Wrestling suffered a notable drop in viewership.

According to ShowBuzzDaily, this week’s episode drew 120,000 viewers. For comparison, the April 29 episode drew 145,000. The 18-49 demographic number stayed the same, as it scored a 0.05 rating both this week and last week.

Overall, the show ranked 112th of all original shows that aired on cable on Thursday night.

Thursday’s show featured the fallout of the Rebellion pay-per-view, where Kenny Omega defeated Rich Swann to win the IMPACT Wrestling Unified World Championship. Coming off this buzzworthy show, it was fair to assume that this week’s episode could enjoy an increase in viewership, so this drop is somewhat surprising.
