IMPACT Making Announcement Regarding World Championship’s Future This Tuesday

IMPACT Wrestling has announced a new development regarding its top title that will be formally announced this Tuesday. Current champion Tessa Blanchard has been off TV as of late due to the ongoing global pandemic. A tournament was held to crown the #1 contender, which was won by Ace Austin, but he’s made indications that he might go after Moose and his TNA Championship instead.

Tessa was also supposed to speak to IMPACT fans via satellite on the most recent show, but that segment was shelved. Signs seem to indicate that the company will be stripping their champion of the title, which could put Ace Austin in a prime position to grab gold. However, the announcement may also be a return date for the current world champion now that athletes are more able to fly due to being declared as essential workers. Either way, we’ll know more about the latest title reign altered by the coronavirus in a few short days.
