At the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, NV, WWE NXT made its inaugural appearance for NXT Battleground 2024 on Sunday evening.
The co-featured event of the night was a groundbreaking bout where Roxanne Perez, current NXT Women’s Champion, defended her title against TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace.
Subsequent to the match, Grace revealed a picture of her earlobe on Twitter, after enduring a wrestling mishap where her earring was torn out.
With a note of dismay, the wrestling star took to Twitter, expressing:
“Very sad to announce that after many years of unproblematic, diligent work, my ear piercings will now retire from in-ring action.”
