During Saturday’s AEW All Out 2024 pay-per-view event, which took place at NOW Arena in Chicago, IL, a noteworthy incident occurred that is continuing to influence an AEW on-screen personality.
Byan Danielson, the reigning AEW World Champion, successfully defended his belt against Jack Perry at the occasion. However, during the match, a misjudged move from Danielson resulted in referee Bryce Remsburg receiving a knee blow. Post-match, the Blackpool Combat Club unexpectedly turned on Danielson, with Jon Moxley shockingly suffocating him with a plastic bag.
Remsburg’s knee-strike led to a genuine bruise under his eye – an actual black eye caused by an in-ring accident.
Remsburg took to Twitter to show off the injury. Apparently, to evade being quizzed about the shiner, he even resorted to wearing sunglasses to a birthday celebration.
Below is the Tweet from Remsburg:
“And this is how I am attending a 9 year old’s birthday party this afternoon to avoid interrogation,” – (@dabryceisright, September 8, 2024)
