The possibility of giving CJ Perry, alias Lana, another contract with WWE could be a major game-changer, the Hall of Famer and NXT commentator, Booker T, believes.
Perry, in a recent statement, revealed her professional parting ways with All Elite Wrestling (AEW). The last she stepped into the ring as part of AEW was in December of the previous year.
Tabletting his views on the latest episode of his ‘Hall of Fame’ podcast, Booker T raised the proposition that Perry could make a triumphant WWE return alongside Bobby Lashley. He commented,
“That might be an initiative to catapult Bobby right back into the mix of WWE affairs. The outcome of the Hurt Business isn’t measuring up as they might have anticipated. But visualize Lana making a comeback; that’s indeed a colossal scoop.”
Perry served the WWE as Lana for a considerable period until she was let go in 2021. Her final WWE match had her pairing with Naomi to take on Dana Brooke (under the ring name Ash By Elegance in TNA) and Mandy Rose.
