In a recent interaction with Cultaholic, MJF spoke on a myriad of topics, one of which was his past association with Adam Cole and his return to playing a villain. He also shared his thoughts on the vocal talents of fellow wrestlers Joe Hendry and Chris Jericho.

MJF, who currently holds the AEW American Championship, got candid about several subjects during this podcast. Here are a few notable moments from the conversation:

When asked about his transformation back to a villain, MJF had this to say: “I had a friend at the time [Adam Cole], who I wish died of dk cancer, and he talked me into opening up to people. I tried it, learned my lesson, and it’s not going to happen again.”

Apart from wrestling, he also discussed his singing talent vis-à-vis his fellow wrestlers: “There’s no doubt about it… Joe Hendry, a nice guy, but I would outdo him.”

On Chris Jericho’s singing prowess, he commented, “Fozzy is produced exceptionally well. They do an amazing job… Yes, absolutely [I’m a superior singer]. Besides, I defeated Chris Jericho. I made him submit with the Salt of the Earth Armbar. The noises he made, at that moment, were like music to my ears.”
