Hulk Hogan – ‘WWE Is On Fire And They’re Doing Better Now Than They’ve Ever Had’

Recently, Hulk Hogan made an appearance on the “Barstool Rasslin” podcast. Here, he unfolded a myriad of aspects, one of which includes how he perceives evolution in the wrestling business from his time until now.

Some of the notable segments from the podcast are shared below:

Regarding the inability of wrestlers to gain popularity similar to him and Steve Austin: “Well, you got to understand, these days, the limelight of the wrestling business is mainly the production. Unlike old times, where one needed to pull in significant money to be the headliner. It’s all about longevity – how long one has been married? How long will one live? How long will your children behave well? That’s a course… The distinction lies between becoming a headlining superstar and an attraction, also between being an attraction and an international phenomenon with global recognition. Few people had achieved it – one of them was Andre [The Giant].”

Expressing how easy it is to turn someone into a WWE star now: “If a player gets injured currently in WWE, the platform is so colossal and well-tuned that they can instantly turn anyone into their star performer. They’ve mastered the art of production, which is a reason to thank because their numbers speak for themselves. The way WWE operates is commendable and shows promising prospects as they are doing better than ever.”
