Hulk Hogan Calls The Iron Sheik An Inspiration To Generations In Touching Tribute

Hulk Hogan will always remember his friendship with The Iron Sheik following the latter’s death earlier this week.

Sheik, real name Hossein Khosrow Ali Vaziri, passed away at the age of 81 and there has been a wave of tributes to the former WWF Champion.

On Instagram, Hogan penned an emotional tribute to his friend and former adversary.

The Iron Sheik played a pivotal role in Hogan’s career, as the Hulkster’s first WWF Championship win came at the expense of the Sheik on January 23, 1984.

The victory is considered by many as the official date that ‘Hulkamania’ was born.
