In the ongoing “Mr. McMahon” docuseries available on Netflix, several significant figures from the WWE world including Vince McMahon and Hulk Hogan, provided insights into an intriguing incident. The matter pertains to when Jesse Ventura, currently in the spotlight, was considered to be rallying the wrestlers in the WWE locker room with an aim to form a union, right before the iconic WrestleMania 2. The revelation was as gripping as the actual WrestleMania event itself.

Interestingly, it was WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan who confessed in the docuseries, that he was the individual who spilled the beans about Ventura’s plans to Vince McMahon. During the show, he divulged his part in the incident.

Hulk Hogan revealed his conversation with Vince McMahon, stating: “Jesse was going about trying to form a union and weasel around Vince just before WrestleMania 2 took off. I was squarely in Vince McMahon’s corner. I did not waste any time and conveyed to Vince, ‘Look, Jesse’s stirring things up. He’s hell-bent on forming a union and you may just see a bunch of wrestlers leaving you at Madison Square Garden. I just thought you should be aware of what’s going on.’”

Vince McMahon, on his part also highlighted that he never truly believed in the possibility of anyone siding Ventura. The WWE Chief stated, “The whole affair was a bluff. It was something he fabricated out of thin air. Mostly like, ‘We should group together.’ Quite honestly, nobody in the locker room was likely to back Jesse.”

Adding another twist to the story, the series pointed out how Vince McMahon took a strong stance against Ventura’s plans. He was said to have sent out a clear warning to the other wrestlers, saying, “What Vince did was summon each wrestler individually. ‘I know about the meeting. Anyone who attends this meeting will find themselves jobless by morning.’ Consequently, nobody turned up.”
