During a recent episode of the “High Performance” podcast, Triple H disclosed that The Rock is a big fan of John Cena’s recent shift to a heel persona. Triple H said:

“He’s really into it. [The] Rock is at a stage in his career with WWE; he is keen to do whatever it takes to support WWE. He’s part of the board. WWE, and wrestling in general, runs in his veins. Moreover, he’s involved with our Final Boss character. The Rock is currently the biggest movie star in the world, coming in to take on a villain’s role in WWE. Despite his frenetic career schedule, he manages to squeeze in appearances and contribute to various aspects here and there.”

Continuing, Triple H said, “Having him around and a part of this is an amazing thing. He enjoys shaking things up, so when a proposition comes up notionally, like when Cody challenges you to a contest or when John takes on a surprising turn, he’s all for it. John resonates, much like Rock does, transcending our business. He’s a recognized name. You don’t have to be a WWE fan to know who John Cena or Rock is.”

On the recent WWE RAW episode, the show started with an explosive solo monologue from GUNTHER, where he freely tossed barbs at Jey Uso and WrestleMania 41. Despite an initial uproar of “YEET!” chants, GUNTHER labeled himself as the finest gift to WWE and belittled Uso’s wrestling skills, asserting his confidence in winning against him for the fourth consecutive time at the Show of Shows.

Later in the program, Jey Uso retaliated with his own speech, accusing GUNTHER of fear and frustration stemming from recent occurrences but asserting his self-belief. He guaranteed a win against GUNTHER with 65,000 spectators at WrestleMania.

In the week’s WWE RAW main event, sparks flew as Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, CM Punk, and Paul Heyman had a face-off. Reigns started the showdown by confronting Heyman about his recent dealings with Punk, accusing him of deceit. Despite Heyman’s denials, Reigns remained suspicious, questioning why he was atoning for Heyman’s history.

Seth Rollins joined in, applauding Reigns for spotting the truth but cautioned that he must defeat him at WrestleMania for the betterment of the business. Rollins reproached Reigns and Punk for being part-time stars that hurt the industry and lashed out at Heyman for allying with Punk.

Unexpectedly, Reigns concurred with Rollins about Heyman’s alliance and proceeded to attack Rollins and knocked Heyman down. Punk rushed in to help Heyman, only to be taken down by Reigns. Rollins retaliated with a steel chair, took out Reigns, and then attacked both Reigns and Punk. The episode ended with Rollins standing triumphant, glaring at a visibly shaken Heyman.

In other news, Roman Reigns is scheduled to appear on “The Pat McAfee Show” at 9:15 local time this Friday. Also, Triple H will grace the show’s second hour.
