In the same episode of AEW Collision, Kris Statlander faced a challenge against Mercedes Mone’s bodyguard, Kamille. Following a win over Harley Cameron, Statlander directly challenged Mone’s enforcer.

Her statement, “One thing about me is that I am never afraid to test myself and prove that I am the toughest and the strongest woman here at AEW. But one person has been a real pain my a**. So Kamille, I’m calling you out. It’s about time you met your match.” set the stage for a face-off between them.

Subsequently, a match between them was officially scheduled for Fright Night Dynamite on October 30.

A noteworthy event of the week in AEW Collision was AEW World Champion Jon Moxley clearing up why he keeps his title in a black bag.

Moxley articulated, “Regarding the AEW World Champion, nothing has changed. Nothing is different. Nothing changed last Saturday night. Nothing has changed since the moment I arrived in AEW. Nobody owns that belt. It doesn’t belong to anybody. It’s not for Bryan Danielson or anybody else. It’s for the position. And only one man has ever sat in that chair. That is me. Somebody spent a lot of money on that belt and it’s really supposed to mean something. It’s just gold and leather and when I look at it, it’s a symbol of everything I hate in this sport. It’s a symbol of everything I’ve been fighting against in this business for years. Everything that AEW was not supposed to be. If nobody else is gonna say it, I’ll say it.”

AEW is now at battle with the Blackpool Combat Club as Private Party and Daniel Garcia rise to the occasion.

During this week’s AEW Collision, Private Party issued a challenge to both the Blackpool Combat Club and The Elite.

The Young Bucks chose not to get involved in the Blackpool Combat Club’s attack on AEW on Dynamite, an act which saw them labelled as cowards this week.

In their responses, Garcia mentioned, “Jon Moxley and his crew, they wanna come in and they want to take over AEW. And then you’ve got people like the Young Bucks, people like Jack Perry, who just wanna sit back and watch. They want to be complicit. They want to act like everything’s okay. It’s not. And the thing is, I don’t think you guys are willing to handle the responsibility that it takes to carry those titles. But I got good news for you. Me and Private Party, we’re going to relieve you of your duties real soon.”, while Isiah Kassidy added, “You know, you said complicit but I think the right word to describe the Young Bucks is complacent. In fact, Young Bucks, you guys are complacent cowards. I’m not gonna sit back and watch the BCC take this over, because this company changed my life. This company changed my family’s life. I’d rather die fighting than watch this company burn to flames. And if we gotta lead by example by beating y’all a**es and becoming the new AEW tag team champions, then so be it.”
