Heath Slater Ready To Spread His Wings Outside WWE On July 17

Prepare the countdown because it’s time for an encore. In a video post on his Instagram, Heath Slater said that his fourteen-year career in WWE was quite a ride. However, he knows why he was one of the many to be let go by the company this week. “I know that my family, my wife, my kids, and probably a lot of the WWE Universe can see that my fire was fading. That’s all on me, but putting everyone else over all the dang time can take a toll on you.”
However, just because the One Man Rock Band is done playing in WWE doesn’t mean that he’s done touring forever. In fact, Heath even drops a date as to when he can perform outside of his former employer. “Come July 17, I can spread my wings and fly a little bit. I feel fire again that I didn’t feel for a while. I feel ready to get in shape, legit. I feel hungry again, very hungry, and I haven’t felt that in a long time. No bullshi*, get ready for the encore.”
