Last week on AEW Dynamite, HOOK teamed up with Samoa Joe to secure a win over Claudio Castagnoli and Wheeler Yuta, but ended up vomiting in the ring following the match.
This unforeseen event led to speculation from fans about a possible concussion. However, Dave Meltzer, an experienced wrestling observer, has confirmed that HOOK is indeed well, and has thankfully not suffered from a concussion.
In the most recent Wrestling Observer Radio broadcast, Meltzer disclosed that the cause behind HOOK’s sudden illness during the match still remains ambiguous. Although, it is worth noting that he did take a hard fall onto a steel chair with his stomach during the wrestling bout.
Meltzer pointed out, “He threw up, but he didn’t have a concussion. That’s what I found out.”
