Professional wrestler, Shawn Michaels is hinting at some substantial transformations to the visual aesthetics of WWE NXT, when the show makes its debut on The CW Network next week.
While promoting the upcoming show with The Chicago Tribune, Michaels, also known as the “Heartbreak Kid”, made it known that some sizeable alterations are on the horizon. He stated,
“Certainly we want to make a big splash on the CW Network. We’ll have some big changes, but I think more of that will be from a look and physical standpoint. We will still be what NXT is, which is bringing some of the most talented, young, diverse athletes in all of the nation, and developing them into the WWE superstars of tomorrow.”
Michaels further elaborated, “The hunger, the passion that’s always been the core value of NXT is always going to be there. But certainly we’ll try to put on some pretty cool bells and whistles for the CW launch on Oct. 1.”
In other WWE news, Tiffany Stratton christened her new team as the “Four Horsewomen” of WWE.
The initial Horsewomen team featured Becky Lynch, Bayley, Sasha Banks, and Charlotte Flair. Yet recently, during her appearance on the “Gorilla Position” podcast, Stratton divulged her choices for her generation’s Four Horsewomen. She announced,
“I’m gonna have to go with Roxanne Perez, myself, Lyra Valkyria, and I feel like the fourth one is kinda’ up in the air right now. Maybe Sol Ruca, maybe Nikkita Lyons when she comes back. I feel I can’t really nail down the fourth one, but I feel those are the two. We have a lot of great talent.”
