AEW wrestler Harley Cameron thoroughly enjoys her wrestling career and she’s of the belief that being able to step into the ring is a win in and of itself.
Recently, Cameron was a guest on Saraya’s “Rulebreakers” podcast where she was questioned about her aspirations for the upcoming five years.
Seized with emotion, Cameron expressed, “I love AEW. “I’m very very happy and I’m thankful I’m learning every day. They’re terrific, amazing. I sincerely enjoy going to work and I think my objective is — I just want to improve. I just want to continue learning. Of course, you want to hit the peak of what you’re capable of, and achieve as much. It might sound cheesy and cliche, but I genuinely mean it.”
Flowing with enthusiasm, she added, “The victory for me is being able to do it. I love being on stage, the exhilarating feeling it gives me, and the way my nerves tingle with anticipation… that’s what I experienced when singing. Now, there’s no beating the thrill of the microphone stand as I prepare to win. The thrill of wrestling gives me the same rush and stirs my passion, I’m now addicted to wrestling. The fear of not making it, striving for perfection, all the aspects that excite me. I found my love again, it’s wrestling.”
In a recent issue of her newsletter “Mone Mag,” AEW wrestler Mercedes Mone reflected on her first year wrestling with AEW, expressing her deep admiration and gratitude for company’s CEO Tony Khan.
In her heartfelt note, Mone wrote, “Time flies at a remarkable pace and I can confidently state that this year with AEW has been one of the most transformative periods of my career. AEW reignited my passion, my drive, and the love I possess for this sport. AEW for me has been a beacon of optimism and for this opportunity, I am eternally indebted to AEW and Tony Khan! I feel honored to share the ring with the world’s most talented women wrestlers–powerful, intense competitors who constantly push me to raise my game. And the men; their unwavering commitment is an inspiration to aim for unparalleled greatness. My journey is far from its culmination; I am determined to etch a memorable mark in the annals of wrestling history. This train is not pulling into the station yet, and I assure you, the best moments are yet to be experienced.”
