Happiness Giovanni Reveals What It Was Like Backstage For The Diva Search Contestants
Joy Giovanni signed up with WWE back in 2004 after ending up 3rd in the Diva Search Competition.
Speaking on “The A2theK Wrestling Show,” the previous WWE skill discussed her release from the business simply one year after she was signed. In addition, she opened about completing in the WrestleMania 25 Diva Battle Royal.

On the Diva Search competitors: “When they moved us over for the weekly televised competitors sector, as a routine part of the program, we existed in the arena with them, however we were kept absolutely segregated from them, and just drew out of our own locker space. They wished to keep us practically sequestered, so we didn’t understand what was going on, we didn’t understand a lot about the program. And I believe the issue, if you can even call it an issue, came when they didn’t discuss to the existing skill lineup that that’s what they were doing.”
On how the handling of the Diva Search candidates offered individuals the incorrect concept bout them: “So it appeared to other individuals that all of us simply didn’t wish to communicate with anybody. And as you understand, there are sort of guidelines backstage where you’re expected to do things in a specific method. We simply came off as actually disrespectful. It wasn’t our objective.”
On what it resembled backstage: “We were all simply sort of anxious. You’re still on an audition, and you’re getting informed to remain in this space and ‘Don’t come out unless we come get you’ type of a thing. We had a restroom and whatever in there that we would require. It was established in a weird method, and I believe a great deal of individuals do not understand that part.”
