The WWE Stand and Deliver event closing show of NXT witnessed a suspenseful tag team gauntlet match. The winner of this match would get a chance to compete against Fraxiom for the prestigious NXT Tag Team Championship at the high-profile live event scheduled for this coming Saturday.
Hank Walker and Tank Ledger defied odds to emerge victorious against Tyriek Igwe and Tyson Dupont. The duos, Brooks Jensen and Niko Vance of The Culling next, also fell to Hank and Tank. Myles Borne and Tavion Heights of No Quarter Catch Crew lined up next and failed the same way. Even Josh Briggs & Yoshiki Inamura could not break the momentum of Hank and Tank. Surprising all, the underdogs went the distance to clinch the victory, reminiscent of Lyra Valkyria and Bayley’s winning their tag team gauntlet match on the preceding Friday night’s episode of SmackDown.
