Former AEW World Champion, Hangman Page, was recently spotted making references to the retirement of ex-US Champion of the WWE, Logan Paul.
Paul was heard on his podcast titled “IMPAULSIVE” revealing his decision to retire from wrestling to become a responsible father this week.
In response to Paul’s announcement on Bluesky, Hangman Page quipped, “I hope the next person they give half my moveset to is at least kinda cool.” Noteworthy to mention here is Hangman’s signature wrestling move, the Buckshot Lariat, that was also used by Paul.
Featured in a recent episode of the “70 Sports Media” podcast was AEW’s female wrestler Kris Statlander, who analysed her latest wrestling match against Mercedes Mone.
Regarding the challenging match with Mercedes Mone, she said, “Definitely one of my most difficult challenges and obviously, I did not walk away with the win, so there’s still a lot to learn from that. I don’t think the length of a match necessarily determines how good it is. We were successful in telling a story and captivating an audience in a way that some people say has never been done before.”
On her outstanding performance in the ring, she expressed, “I am extremely proud to have put on that remarkable performance and glad to have kept up with one of the world’s best wrestlers. I am hopeful that in our future encounters, I succeed in proving my position as one of the best wrestlers globally.”
