Last week on AEW Dynamite, Hangman Page was attacked and laid out by Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks in a storyline to write him off AEW television for the next several weeks. It has been reported that Page is not scheduled to compete at All Out in Chicago.
In regards to why Hangman Page won’t be on the road for All Elite Wrestling for the next several weeks, Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that Page was always scheduled to take time off around this time to be with his wife as they prepare for the birth of their first child.
Hours after this report came out, Hangman Page took to social media to thank those who have respected his privacy, and to those who didn’t, well…:
“thank you to everyone who respected my privacy these past few months and a big ‘eat my ass’ to those who chose not to. im madder than hell and you know what im coming for when i get back,” Hangman Page said in a tweet.
While many wrestling fans had hoped that Page would be taking on Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship at All Out, it’s clear that Tony Khan has plans to hold that match on a later date. Full Gear, perhaps?
