In a recent episode of the “Insight” podcast, the renowned Ken Shamrock confirmed that he is currently bound to a Legends contract with WWE.
During the podcast Shamrock expressed, “My partnership with WWE is one that has been consistent over years. Even after my departure, the relationship we established continued to flourish. Indeed, a Legends Contract is what ties us now. Given the amount of work, time and impact I imprinted on WWE, I feel like I am an essential part of the WWE family, permanently belonging. I am, in fact, bonded through a Legends deal. They are perpetually releasing new content. The experience so far has been gratifying.”
Another exclusive tidbit from the world of wrestling includes Alexa Bliss, who shared on her Instagram that she is lending her voice to the upcoming wrestling-based drama “Queen of Villains” set to air on Netflix.
The Netflix series encapsulates the journey of Japanese wrestler Dump Matsumoto. The tale follows her overcoming obstacles to emerge as one of the most significant heels in Japanese wrestling history, simultaneously battling stereotypes in an industry plagued by gender bias.
On her social media, Bliss expressed her feelings by saying, “This has been an incredible experience that I am extremely grateful and honored to be part of. Partnering with @therealtimmyred on my venture into voiceover work was enlightening. His guidance, especially while recording songs, and the patience he bestowed upon me were inspirational. Thank you @kylepuccia! Being a part of Maki Ueda’s journey in this impressive series was an honor. Many thanks to @netflix for this opportunity. I had the best time recording for ‘The Queen of Villians’ and I am sure the audience will enjoy it as much. ‘The Queen of Villains’ is now streaming on Netflix!”
